There are moments in life that quietly change you—and then there are moments that announce your growth to the world. Standing at a press conference podium for the first time in my life was one of those defining experiences. It wasn’t just about microphones, cameras, and flashing lights. It was about stepping into a new version of myself.
27th Feb, 2026, the day of the press conference felt different from the start. There was a subtle mix of excitement and nervous energy. I had addressed seminars, webinars, and public gatherings before, but this was different. A press conference carries responsibility. Every word matters. Every sentence can be quoted. You’re not just speaking to an audience in the room—you’re speaking to society at large.
Sitting beside stalwarts like Dr. Shri Vallabhbhai Kathiria (Ex- Minister GOI; Ex-Chairman Rastriya Kamdhenu Aayog; Chairman, GCCI), Shri Shekhar Mungdada (Chairman, Maharashtra Gauseva Aayog), Shri Dilip Kale (Renowned Architect) I felt blessed to speak few words in this Press Conference.
As I stood before the media representatives, I could see curiosity in their eyes. Journalists from different publications and channels were present, each ready with questions. For a brief moment, I felt the weight of the occasion. But then something shifted. Instead of focusing on the cameras, I focused on the purpose behind the event. I reminded myself why I was there—to share a vision, to communicate an idea, and to contribute something meaningful.
What made the experience truly special was the realization that this was a milestone. Everyone has “firsts” in life—first speech, first achievement, first recognition. My first press conference symbolized growth, courage, and responsibility. It marked a transition from being a participant to being a spokesperson.
After the event concluded, there was a deep sense of gratitude. Gratitude for the journey that led to this stage. Gratitude for the mentors, colleagues, and supporters who made it possible. And gratitude for the opportunity to represent a cause publicly by the leaders who believed in me.
Looking back, the happiness I felt was not just about speaking at a press conference—it was about overcoming hesitation, embracing visibility, and trusting my voice. It reminded me that growth often begins where comfort ends.
The first press conference of my life will always remain a cherished memory—not because it was grand, but because it was transformative.
